Terms of Service

MascotVibe is an AI-powered tool for generating mascot characters and animations from images. It's operated by Soft Focus Apps. You use credits to run generations — mascot creation, animation, and exports all consume credits depending on the task.

You need an account to use MascotVibe. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for any activity that happens under your account. If you think someone else has access, contact us immediately at david@softfocusapps.com.

You must be 18 or over to use MascotVibe.

Credits are purchased either as part of a subscription or as one-off top-ups. Once a generation has started, credits are consumed and non-refundable — this is because we're paying AI providers in real time to process your request.

If a generation fails due to a bug on our end, we'll refund the credits. If it fails because of invalid input (e.g. an unsupported image format), we may not be able to.

Subscription credits reset monthly and don't roll over. Top-up credits don't expire while your account is active.

You own your mascots and animations. The content you generate using MascotVibe belongs to you. You can use it commercially, in your apps, in your marketing — whatever you like.

We retain the right to use anonymised examples of generated content in our own marketing (like a showcase gallery of animation styles). We won't show your brand, logo, or anything identifiable without your explicit permission.

You grant us a limited licence to process and store the content you upload in order to deliver the service.

We trust our users, but a few things are off the table:

• Harmful or illegal content — don't use MascotVibe to generate anything that's illegal, hateful, sexually explicit (without proper age verification), or designed to harass or harm someone
• API abuse — don't attempt to bypass rate limits, reverse engineer the system, or hammer our endpoints in ways that affect other users
• Reselling access — you can't resell or sublicense access to MascotVibe itself (selling your finished mascots is fine — reselling the service is not)
• Impersonation — don't create accounts to impersonate other people or organisations

Violating these rules may result in account suspension or termination.

MascotVibe is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. AI services can be slow or unavailable, and we depend on third-party providers (fal.ai, Google, Modal) that are outside our control.

We won't be liable for lost profits, missed deadlines, or other indirect losses that result from the service being unavailable or producing unexpected results. Our total liability to you in any month is capped at the amount you paid us that month.

You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity.

If we terminate your account for abuse, you won't receive a refund for unused credits. If we ever shut down the service entirely, we'll give you reasonable notice and refund any unused paid credits.

We may update these terms from time to time. For significant changes, we'll notify you by email. Continuing to use MascotVibe after an update means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
